The purposes of the BC Extrication Society

- Form an association of society members across British Columbia.

- Maintain records of the BC Extrication Society.

- Establish dates and locations for Regional Challenges and annual meetings.

- Encourage and assist in the training and teaching of transportation extrication & rescue to firefighters, first responders and the public.

- Develop new techniques and technology for transportation extrication.

- Distribute safety, accident statistics and extrication information to general public, schools & community groups.

- Work in conjunction with other established educational groups to encourage vehicle safety.

- Promote establish standards in the field of extrication.
